Ernie's Amazing Emporium of Total Bargain Madness!

Name:
Taira
I'm a college graduate with some fancy sounding degrees. I'm still basically of the opinion that I don't know anything, though.

This journal mostly exists to 1) squee about the books and TV shows and harry-potter-thing I am obsessed with at the moment 2) complain about my life and how I either have too much to do or not enough and don't have friends 3)make long posts where I analyze things to death. Nowadays most posts are friends-locked.

I spend most of my time on internet doing the following things: 1) reading feminist (and I mean that in the broad anti-racist, anti-ablist etc. sense) blogs 2) reading science, atheist, and skeptic blogs 3) reading fanfiction 4) watching TV shows of whatever I can find online. TV I prefer is: sci-fi/fantasy/adventure, anything with gay subtext or maintext, anything with a feminist bent or a lot of Bechdel passes, and some science programming. 5) Oh and youtube. Lots of youtube. Mainly watching wizard rockers. 6) Also various computer-y things that are beyond the scope of this LJ, being that it's fandom-centric.

Oh, and note on comments: I, uh, really suck at responding to comments in a timely manner. This is probably why I don't get very many. I apologize for this in advance, but be assured even if it's 3 or 4 days later I will get back to you. And even if I don't respond, to some types of comments, I do read the comment and appreciate it muchly.

Also, to prove that I'm not funny at all:
